Step-by-Step Installation & Configuration Guide
Setting up DialogPay on your Shopify store is a quick process handled directly through the UNumPay app interface.
A. Installing the App
- Visit the Shopify App Store and navigate to the DialogPay/UNumPay app listing (or directly visit https://apps.shopify.com/unum-pay).
- Click on the “Add App Button”.
- Select your Shopify store on which you want to install the application.
- Once installed, you may be redirected to an initial welcome screen. You should then open the application directly in your Shopify Admin using the URL format {shopify-admin-domain}/admin/apps/unified-transaction.
B. Configuring DialogPay
- In the app interface, Click on Configurations.
- Locate the section to Configure and manage your payment gateways.
- Enter the required details into the fields using the credentials provided to you by DialogPay.
Configuration Fields (Credentials Provided by DialogPay)
The following fields must be populated with the information supplied by DialogPay:
- Client Name
- User Name
- Password
- Database Name
- Merchant ID
- Payment Provided ID
- Payment Service ID
- Public Key
- Private Key
- Client Description: Enter a brief description, tagline, or selling information for your store.
Active: Ensure this checkbox is selected.
C. Finalizing the Setup
- After entering all information, Click on the “Save” button.
- You will be redirected to the account status screen; Click on “activate UNumPay”.
- Note on Testing: If you are using demo credentials, ensure you enable the Test mode option. For live transactions, the Test mode checkbox must be unchecked.
Once activated, Dialog Pay will be available as a payment method named “Debit – Credit Card” on your Shopify checkout page.
