WhatsApp Official Business Account (Blue Tick)
The WhatsApp Official Business Account (OBA) status, signified by a blue tick next to your business name, is an excellent way to build credibility and trust with your customers. It shows that your business is verified and authentic, making it easier for users to identify you. Here’s a detailed guide to obtaining this status for your WhatsApp account through DialogPay.
What is a WhatsApp Official Business Account?
A WhatsApp OBA is an account that displays a blue verification badge next to the business name. This badge is provided by Meta (parent company of WhatsApp) to businesses that meet specific criteria, ensuring they are legitimate and trustworthy. Unlike standard WhatsApp Business accounts, OBAs do not show phone numbers as the account’s identifier but instead use the verified business name.
Why is OBA Important for Your Business?
Builds Trust: Customers feel more confident when interacting with verified businesses.
Enhances Credibility: A blue tick differentiates your business from competitors or fraudulent accounts.
Boosts Visibility: Increases the likelihood of customers engaging with your brand on WhatsApp.
