Setting up Broadcast
The Broadcasts feature in Dialogpay allows you to send scheduled messages to a targeted audience across different channels, including Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. This guide will help you understand how to create, view, and schedule broadcasts easily.
Creating Broadcasts in Dialogpay
Step 1: Accessing the Broadcasts Tab
-
Login to your Dialogpay dashboard.
-
From the left-hand menu, click on the Broadcasts tab. This will take you to the main Broadcasts page, where you can view previously created broadcasts and set up new ones.
Step 2: Creating a New Broadcast
-
Click the Plus (+) Button: At the top-right corner of the Broadcasts page, click the plus (+) button to start creating a new broadcast.
-
Select Broadcast Channel: In the broadcast creation window, you can select which channel you want to send your message on. You have the option to broadcast via Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp.
-
Choose Target Audience: You can choose the audience for the broadcast by selecting specific groups or applying tags. This ensures your message is sent to the right recipients.
-
Use tags to filter and segment your audience, such as sending a broadcast only to leads or existing customers.
-
Set the Broadcast Time: You can either send the broadcast immediately or schedule it for a future date and time.
-
To schedule, simply choose the date and time for when the broadcast should be sent.
Scheduling broadcasts in advance allows you to plan and automate communication without needing to manually trigger each broadcast.
Viewing & Managing Broadcasts
After you’ve created a broadcast, you can monitor and manage it from the Broadcasts tab:
All your previously created broadcasts will appear here. You can check the status of each broadcast, including whether it’s been sent or is scheduled for a future time.
You can also view detailed insights, such as how many recipients received the message, how many opened it, and their engagement rate.
If you need to change or cancel a scheduled broadcast, you can easily do so by clicking on the specific broadcast and selecting either Edit or Delete.
Best Practices for Broadcasts
-
Segment Your Audience: Make sure to target the right audience using groups and tags. Sending relevant messages to the right recipients can increase engagement and reduce opt-outs.
-
Test Your Broadcast: Before sending a large broadcast, test it by sending the message to a small internal group to ensure everything looks correct.
-
Schedule for Optimal Times: Analyze when your audience is most active on WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger and schedule broadcasts during those times to maximize visibility and engagement.
