Import Contacts
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started
Step 1: Prepare Your Contact List
Ensure your contacts are saved in a supported file format. Common formats include CSV (Comma Separated Values).
Step 2: Locate the “Import Contacts” Option
-
Log in to your DialogPay account.
-
Navigate to the contact section where you manage your contacts.
-
Click on the plus button then click on the upload button to upload file.
Step 3: Select Your File:
-
Click the "Import Contacts" option.
-
Locate and select the file containing your contacts.
Step 4: Field Mapping
If you’re importing a CSV file, DialogPay ask you to map the fields in your file to the corresponding fields in the platform. For example, you’ll need to tell DialogPay which column in your CSV file contains the contact’s name, email address, and phone number.
Step 5: Review and Confirm
-
DialogPay may present a preview of how your contacts will be imported. Review this information to ensure it looks correct.
-
If everything looks good, confirm the import process.
Step 6: Wait for Completion
-
The import process might take a few moments, especially if you're importing a large number of contacts.
-
Once the import is complete, you should see your newly imported contacts within the DialogPay platform.
Tips for a Smooth Import
-
Clean Your Data: Before importing, take a moment to clean up your contact list. Remove any duplicates, ensure the data is accurate, and format consistently.
-
Start Small: If you have a large contact list, consider importing a small subset first to ensure that the process works correctly and that you understand the field mapping.
-
Double-Check Formatting: Ensure that your CSV file is properly formatted, with commas separating the fields. Use a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar to prepare your data.
-
Consult DialogPay Support: If you encounter any issues or have questions about the specific import process, don't hesitate to consult DialogPay's help center or contact their support team.
