How to change your WhatsApp Business Display Name
The display name on your WhatsApp Business profile is the name of your business. You can assign a display name to a phone number when you add it to your WhatsApp Business account in the Meta Business Manager.

Step 1: Access the Business Manager
Log in to your Business Manager and select your business. Navigate to the Settings menu and select WhatsApp Account from the side menu.
Step 2: Open WhatsApp Manager
Choose the WhatsApp account you want to update. Click the WhatsApp Manager button at the bottom of the page to proceed.
Step 3: Edit Your Display Name
In the Name column, hover over your current display name. Click the pencil icon to begin editing.
Step 4: Update the Display Name
In the Edit Display Name section:
Enter the new display name and click Save to save the changes.
Display names should have a relationship with your business and use branding consistent with external sources (e.g. your website).
Your business can change the display names up to 10 times in a 30-day period. Once the 30-day period is up, a new 30-day period begins. If you exceed this limit, you need to contact Facebook support to make any further changes.
It typically takes 1–2 days for Facebook to approve the display name. You will receive an email notification once the name is approved. Upon approval, the new display name will be automatically updated on your number.
Troubleshooting Rejected Display Names
If your display name is rejected, the certificate status will display Name Not Approved. You can resubmit the name by following the same steps, ensuring compliance with the guidelines. Once approved, the new display name will be updated automatically.
