How to Get DialogPay API ?

DialogPay is a user-friendly platform that has made integration simple and secure. It provides an API key that is directly generated from the dashboard. This process is done only in a matter of minutes.
Note: The token must be used right away as it gets expired, if not saved in time.

The following are the steps to get the DialogPay API key for whatsapp integrations.

Step1 : Go to Dashboard

You need to first login to your dialogpay business account and access your dashboard.

Step2 : Go to Sidebar Menu and Click on Integrations

On the left side’s main menu there is integrations mentioned, which leads the user to further procession of API key.

Step3: You will see Integration Module and on bottom right you see + icon to add Integration

Since you need to add a new integration, there is a need to click the + icon available at bottom right of the page. You need to click that icon to add a new integration.

Step4: By clicking on this, you will see list of integrations and you see of shopify Plugin

Through clicking this + icon, the user is redirected to see the list of integrations where the shopify plugin is also available. The user needs to click shopify plugin for connection.

Step5: By clicking on this , form appears

Once shopify plugin is connected, the browser leads you to this page where you need to add integration name as per your requirement along with its description.

Step 6: Fill the form and click connect you will see dialogpay API key in popup (And it will expire in 5mins)

After filling out the form and connecting it, an API key is generated, which is a unique code for your shopify catalogue. Please save this key as soon as possible as it expires in 5 minutes.

Step7: Reappearance of pop-up on listing

You can get the pop-up again through clicking on the listing in case you close it by mistake. This makes the process feasible and user-friendly.

Step8: Now click on this and you will get this screen , now click on basic information

After creation of the listing you need to open that listing to see its detailed menu, including basic information and other menu.

Step9: After Clicking on this you get your API key by clicking on View Token

In the basic information section, you can view your API token again and copy it for saving purposes

Step 4: Search for the App

  • Use the search bar to enter the app’s name or browse categories if you’re exploring options.
  • Click on the app you want to install to view its details, pricing, and user reviews.

Step 5: Add the App to Your Store

  • On the app listing page, click Add app.
  • If you are using a private installation link, it will take you directly to an installation prompt inside your Shopify admin.

Step 6: Review Permissions

  • A permissions page will appear showing what data the app can access.
  • Carefully review these permissions to ensure you’re comfortable with the access being granted.
  • Click Install app (or Approve if it’s a paid app) to proceed.

Step 7: Complete App Setup

  • Once installed, you’ll be redirected to the app interface inside your Shopify admin.
  • Most apps require initial configuration (e.g., connecting an API key, enabling an app embed, or adjusting store settings).
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to finish setup.

Step 8: Verify Installation

  • Go back to Apps in your Shopify admin sidebar.
  • Ensure the app is listed and active.

  • Enter the Integration Name and Description as needed.

  • Ensure that the URL is correct to avoid connection errors.

Step 6: Connect and Generate API Key

  • Click Connect.
  • DialogPay will generate an API key and show it in a popup.
  • Important: The key expires in 5 minutes, so save it immediately.

Step 7: Add the API Key in Shopify

  • Go to your Shopify Admin Dashboard → Apps → open DialogPay App (or install it if not done yet).
  • Paste the API key into the required field and save the settings.
  • The Shopify store will now be connected to DialogPay.

Step 8: Verify the Connection

  • After setup, open the integration listing again on DialogPay.
  • Click Basic Information → View Token to confirm the connection.
  • Test the sync or payment flow to ensure everything is working.

Step 9: Connect DialogPay

  • Go to connect to dialogpay.
  • Enter dialogpay API key there.
  • Click connect to the account.

Step 10: Auto-connect to Dialogpay

Click on connect dialogpay to get synced.

Step 11: Final Step

Your account is now connected and synced such that you can open your dashboard right away through the link attached.
